1. Integer is a large set of numbers that includes whole numbers and their negative numbers. Which we have studied in standard 6.
2. In the previous standard we have studied the representation of integers and their addition and subtraction.
3. We have just studied the properties observed by addition and subtraction. (a) Integers have conclusions about both addition and subtraction. That is, getting a + and 4- b for integers a and b is an integer. (b) The sum of integers is synchronous i.e. all integers a 344 b Hè a + b = b + a. (c) The sum has a rule of groups for integers. That is, all integers, b n c Huà (a + b) + c = a + (b + c). (d) An integer is a neutral number for addition. That is, a + 0 = 0 + a = a for each integer vr.
4. After studying, we have found that multiplying a positive integer and a negative integer gives a negative integer, while two negative integers give a positive integer. For example, –2 x7 = -14 and 73 x - 8 = 24.
5. Multiplying a negative integer by an odd number gives the answer a positive integer, while multiplying a negative integer by an even number gives a negative integer.
6. Some properties about multiplication of integers:
(a) Integers have convergence about multiplication. That is, any two integers are 4 and ax b is an integer.
(b) The product of integers is synchronous. That is axb = bx a for any integer.
(c) has the rule of multiplication group for integers. That is, for any three integers a, B and C (ax b) x c = ax (b x c),
(d) integer 1 is a neutral number for multiplication. That is, 1 x a = ax 1 = a for any integer.

7. Integers under addition and multiplication have the property of dividing. That is, for any three integers a, B and C, ax (b + c) = ax b + ax c. By multiplying
8. The property of order in addition and multiplication, the property of group and the property of division help to make our calculation easier.
9. We have also learned how to divide integers. We have seen that,
(a) When a positive integer is divided by another negative integer or when a negative integer is divided by a solid integer, the negative number is obtained.
(b) A positive integer is obtained when the negative integer is divided by three other integers. 10. For any integer, (a) a + 0 is not defined. (b) a + 1 = a
